Mobile Network Simulation
📌 Description: This project uses network simulation tools such as NS3 or OMNeT++ to model how messages travel in mobile networks. It will specifically focus on simulating key processes like paging and handoffs. Paging involves notifying a mobile device of an incoming message when it's in idle mode, while handoffs occur when a mobile device moves between different network cells, ensuring seamless communication.
📌 Skills:
Network Protocols: Understanding and implementation of protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, LTE, and 5G.
Wireless Communication Principles: Modeling wireless channels, signal strength, and interference in mobile networks.
Simulation Techniques: Proficient in using simulation tools (NS3, OMNeT++) for network behavior analysis, optimization, and testing of mobile communication scenarios.
📌 Tech Stack:
NS3: A discrete-event network simulator designed for research in communication networks.
OMNeT++: A modular, component-based simulation environment used for modeling networks and communication systems.
Python: For scripting, analyzing simulation results, and automating tasks.
